Senior Project Manager -Interior Design Excellence, Cape Town

Key Responsibilities

• Lead & Inspire: Manage a small project management team, overseeing projects from inception to delivery, ensuring quality, timeliness, and team growth.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with leadership on project feasibility, fee structures, margins, and profitability.
• Financial Control: Compile, revise, and present project budgets; manage cash flow and invoicing schedules.
• Programme Management: Develop and maintain the master project programme.
• Execution Oversight: Control drawing versions, supplier selection, tendering, procurement, and compliance with specifications.
• Design Collaboration: Work closely with interior designers to bring creative visions to life.
• On-Site Leadership: Monitor progress and quality on site in line with project plans.
• Client Relations: Act as a trusted point of contact, nurturing strong client relationships.
• Project Handover: Oversee project close-out and seamless handover.
• Business Growth: Represent the brand and contribute to business development efforts.

• Relevant project management qualification.
• 5-7 years of experience in project management within the built environment.
• Exposure to interior design and a solid understanding of construction methods.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Excellent organisational and coordination abilities.
• Proficient in financial management and project planning tools.
• High-level numerical and computer literacy.
• Ability to problem-solve under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
• Collaborative, flexible, and team-oriented mindset.
• Entrepreneurial acumen and a strong sense of business awareness.
