Are you a results-driven and experienced engineer with a passion for managing complex projects from conception to completion? We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join our team and lead the successful delivery of challenging engineering projects.

Your Expertise:

• Compiling functional design specifications.
• Training and guiding junior engineers and technicians.
• Providing technical assistance to BD.
• Energy and power meter framework design.
• EMS, AMR system design and commissioning.
• Metering systems FAT and SAT procedures and testing.
• Reviewing design documentation.
• Ensuring System integration and testing
• Quality assurance and control with particular emphasis on conformance to customer specifications.
• Supporting field technicians.
• Attending to clientxc3xa2xe2x82xacxe2x84xa2s queries and support.
• Configuring hardware (servers, switches, gateways, power meters).
• Function-related experience: 10 years experience in energy management, AMR, and EMS.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Microsoft SQL Server knowledge.
• Technical knowledge of electrical panel design and meter installations.
• 5 years experience with Schneider Electric PME and ION architecture.
• 5 years experience in billing/revenue energy meters (e.g., Landis Gyr, Elster, Enermax).
• 3 years experience in power quality audit and mitigation equipment.
• 5 years experience in industrial network switches and gateways (e.g., Moxa, Teltonika, Truteq).
• Strong technical document writing skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with team members.
• Ability to manage and interact with subcontractors and suppliers.

Qualifications required:

• Matric Certificate.
• Electrical/Electronic Engineering Degree/Diploma.
• Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer.
• Short courses:

• Project Management background.
• Power Quality background.
• Schneider Electric advanced PME.
• Certified Energy Management (CEM).
• Energy Performance Certification (EPC).
