Job Description
- To build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders and service providers.
- To deliver, monitor and improve customer service.
- Ensuring firearm and tactical training is provided by the Metropolitan Police/Safety and Security Training Academy.
- Implementing and ensuring skills development and reporting to internal and external quality assurers.
- Managing training and skills development and the transfer of skills and knowledge.
- Relevant B Tech or First Degree
- ODETD qualification
- Registered Assessor and Moderator within Firearm environment up to Category 4 as per PFTC schedule
- At least five (5) years relevant experience in a Shooting Range / Accredited College training environment
- Ability to interact and communicate on various levels
- Report writing and presentation skills
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Knowledge of all relevant legislation, regulations and policies
- Intermediate computer literacy Office Applications
- Valid drivers license (Code B/EB)
- No criminal record or illicit activity recorded
- Proficiency in two of the official languages of the Western Cape (one of which is English)
50480 Firearm Training qualification
Must qualify to be registered as a member of Municipal Police Service as per Regulation 11 of the South African Police Service Amendment Act, 1995 (Act 68 of 1995)
Registered as a Traffic Officer
Registered Assessor and Moderator within Firearm environment up to Category 5 as per PFTC schedule.
