Brand Marketing at Nike serves as the captain in driving our Sport-led offense across South Africa. As part of the Brand Marketing team, you will work in close collaboration with other Marketing teams and a wider cross-functional group both locally and in our EMEA, CEMEA and Global teams to deliver disruptive and effective campaigns for the brand.

Nike South Africa is seeking an enthusiastic, fresh marketing talent to join the Brand Marketing. The successful candidate will be a focused self-starter, ready to take direction, feedback and initiative on given tasks. They should have strong project management skills and an understanding of marketing briefs, budgets, processes, reporting and timelines.
Specific requirements include:
Strong foundations in marketing with proven success driving impact in creative, brand, or commercial environments.
Authentic passion for and understanding of Sports, and a wider connection to culture, youth & community.
Demonstrable connection to youth culture, including understanding of Social Media behaviours and platforms.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, including with a variety of cross-functional internal teams and external agency partners.
Positive, go-getting personality - ready to dive into projects with a team-first mentality.
A proven track record of connecting with our consumer through insight gathering and support in execution of cross-functional marketing campaigns
Proven experience managing external relationships with individuals and organisations, aligned to Nike's strategic objectives
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
As a Senior Professional in Marketing, reporting into a Brand Director, you will be responsible for supporting the brand team across a diverse range of tasks to deliver successful executions of brand campaigns and overall strategic approach.The role goes across all sport performance/lifestyle dimensions, sport & cultural moments and new areas that may not exist, or we do not support yet. This allows us to be flexible and to remain fully committed to adapting at the pace of our consumer, to ultimately serve them better
Key responsibilities will include:
Contributing ideas and opportunities to continue to grow our position as Nike in sports, culture and with the youth.
Input into strategic brand plans and leading the execution of events and activation moments.
Organising the ordering, tracking and delivery of product requirements for key moments such as shoots, seeding and events.
Leading the briefing of internal teams and external agency partners, and work with them to deliver, campaigns, reporting and insights as required.
Collaboration with our cross-functional teams on the coordination and roll-out of campaigns across marketing channels.
