WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR


The

Senior Production Planner

will be accountable for the development, co-ordination and execution of production plans in line with the sales plan while ensuring quality and timeliness deliverables. The Senior Planner will manage the planning process, guide junior planners/planners and work order administrators, as well contribute to strategic planning initiatives within the organization.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

Procurement requirements are processed on time. Lead stock count for responsible plants. Review of manufacturing Bills of Materials. Review of manufacturing bill of processes and production versions. Manage and correct MPS and communicate plan for on time delivery to sales plan. Review the captured production data and or book production when necessary. Arrange inter-site collection of goods and delivery of complete products to other sites. Overview the capturing and reporting of works orders and WIP. Resolve discrepancies. Provide accurate input into all RFQ and Contract execution meetings. Complete and update all management reports (KPI reporting). WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE


National Diploma with Commerce/ Production /Supply Chain related majors or any relevant NQF 6 equivalent qualification. Extensive experience in ERP/ MRP within a manufacturing or production environment namely SAP. 7-10 years' work experience in the manufacturing/ supply chain/ operational planning environment. Previous experience in a planning role. Excellent interpersonal, facilitation and conflict management skills with sound persuasive and client relationship skills. Excellent planning and organizational skills. Advanced computer literacy (particularly in Excel and SAP). WHAT WE OFFER YOU
