Minimum requirements for the role:

A Technical Qualification/B.Sc. Quantity Surveying (beneficial).
Minimum 5 years experience in procurement of medium to heavy fabrication, machining, welding, foundries etc.).
Relevant working and purchasing experience in hydraulics and components, electrical instruments, pressure test equipment, electrical motors, geared motors, industrial bearings, etc.
Have construction and mining industry knowledge.
Must have a technical aptitude.
Knowledge of commodity markets and price trends.
Knowledge of various grades, qualifications and varieties of materials and equipment.
Be computer literate with good knowledge of MSWord, Excel, Powerpoint.
Have excellent communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
Be self-motivated with time management skills.
Business principles, practices, and procedures.
Have excellent presentation skills.
Be assertive and adaptable.
Valid drivers license and own transport.
