As a Senior Platform DevOps Engineer, you will take a strategic and leadership role in designing, implementing, and evolving our Azure-based cloud platform that enables scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud-native applications. You will lead initiatives to mature our DevSecOps practices, enhance platform resilience, and drive automation across the engineering lifecycle. Working closely with Cloud Architects, SREs, Security, and Application Engineering teams, you will influence architecture decisions, mentor junior engineers, and ensure consistency and reliability across environments through platform engineering excellence.
Key Responsibilities:Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure platform components and DevOps. Pipelines across multiple environments using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and GitOps methodologies Architect and optimize Kubernetes (AKS) environments and infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and maintainability. Drive infrastructure-as-code adoption and standardization (Bicep, Terraform); establish reusable modules and patterns for consistency and governance. Champion platform security, including secrets management, RBAC policies, and compliance automation using Azure Key Vault, Azure Policy, and related services. Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing hands-on coaching, code reviews, and best practice sharing to elevate team capability. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver robust CI/CD processes, enforce quality gates, and reduce time-to-production. Establish and refine observability practices (logging, metrics, tracing) to ensure platform reliability and incident response readiness. Contribute to strategic planning, roadmap definition, and continuous improvement of platform and DevSecOps maturity. Produce and maintain high-quality documentation, architectural runbooks, and knowledgesharing resources.

Qualifications and Experience:6+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure roles, with increasing responsibility, Seniority and leadership. Proven experience designing and operating complex cloud platforms on Microsoft Azure. Strong expertise with Kubernetes (AKS), containerization, and DevOps/GitOps deployment strategies. Deep proficiency in infrastructure automation and configuration management using Terraform, Bicep, or similar IaC tools. Strong understanding of modern CI/CD practices, environment promotion strategies, and testing automation. Solid scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python. Experience with platform monitoring, distributed tracing, and alerting (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana,Azure Monitor, or equivalent). Adept at leading initiatives, influencing technical direction, and driving cross-team collaboration.


Preferred Certifications:Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or DevOps Engineer Expert. Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Application Developer (CKAD).
