A permanent opportunity has become available in our planning team for a Merchandise Planner. If youxe2x80x99re passionate about product and have sound planning experience then this is the position for you.

Key activities include:

• Influencing and implementing the merchandise strategy
• Financial and strategic management of the product e.g. product planning, controlling OTB, reviewing weekly & monthly performance
• Management of the range assortments in a quick responds environment
• Management and implementation of distribution strategy e.g. analysing stores profiles & sales trends.
• Work collaboratively with the buying team to maximise sales, optimise inventory levels and grow profit.
• Establish and maintain collaborative partnerships with internal and external partners, including suppliers

The ideal candidate should have:

• Relevant 3 year tertiary qualification`
• Proven working experience as a Senior Planner (3+ years essential)
• A high degree of numeracy and an analytical, detailed and strategic approach to work
• A history of achievement and delivering results within a fast paced retail environment
• Strong business acumen and merchant agility
• Good organisational and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proven decision-making ability
• Strong affiliation to systems, utilising them to increase productivity in line with the merchandise strategy
