Job Summary
An engineering firm based in Cape Town offering integrated and collaborative engineering, design, consulting, and project management solutions is looking for a to join their team!
Responsibilities:
- Generate 3D models inside of Autodesk Plant 3D
- Inputting of piping specifications, including MOC's, flanges, valves, and gaskets.
- Troubleshoot design issues inside Autodesk Plant 3D
- Run ISO-gen and prepare ISO's
- Accurately input client design requirements & modify as necessary
- Prepare general arrangements, ortho's, plans & elevations
- Work with the mechanical, structural, electrical, and instrumental disciplines in the design and 3D models
- Suitable draughting qualification
- Experience in piping designs & detailing in the mining/mineral processing/heavy engineering industries
- Good background of mechanical drafting/drawing standards/welding
- Able to read, interpret process diagrams (flowsheets and P&ID's)
- Strong skills in Autodesk programs (AutoCAD 3D Required)
- Knowledge of NAVISWORKS Manage is an advantage
- 5-7 years piping 3D drafting experience
