Job Summary:

We are seeking a

Senior Network Engineer

to provide Business-As-Usual (BAU) coverage and lead network projects. This role involves managing day-to-day network operations, troubleshooting, implementing changes, and ensuring the stability and security of our infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide BAU coverage (typically 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (GMT) ; extended coverage may be required as per vendor contract). Manage fault reporting and troubleshooting with vendors (e.g., ISP issues). Execute BAU change management processes. Perform out-of-hours changes when necessary. Conduct hardware and software patching. Deliver project implementations while balancing BAU priorities.

Minimum Technical Criteria

Must have hands-on experience with:

Cisco Networking

: Switching, routing, and firewalls + Cisco Nexus core architecture (N9K & N3K)
+ Cisco FTD firewalls managed via FMC

Meraki Switching

: Access layer deployment + Used in VST and remote offices

Desirable Knowledge:

VMware and Microsoft Azure Netskope (advantageous but not essential)

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

Strong real-world knowledge of Cisco and Meraki technologies; certifications (Cisco, Meraki) are highly preferable. Proven ability to manage and prioritize tasks independently. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to act as a liaison between technical teams and the helpdesk, monitoring ticket progress and ensuring timely resolution. Confident in contributing to daily stand-ups and weekly planning calls.

Self-motivated and capable of working independently. Strong organizational skills to manage own diary and workload. * Effective communicator with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
