Location: Johannesburg (Hybrid: 3 days in-office Tuesdayxe2x80x93Thursday, 2 days remote Monday & Friday) Contract Duration: Until 31 March 2026 (with potential extension)Role Overview:
We are urgently looking for an experienced CCIE-level Network Engineer to architect, deploy, and support our complex and mission-critical network infrastructure. You will lead network design and automation efforts, cloud integration, and advanced troubleshooting across hybrid and on-prem environments.POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage complex network environments using routing and switching protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP)
• Lead Software-Defined Networking (SDN) design and deployment initiatives
• Automate network configurations and operations through scripting
• Implement and manage Quality of Service (QoS) policies
• Configure and support multicast routing (PIM, IGMP) and VPN solutions (IPsec, SSL, MPLS)
• Integrate and manage hybrid cloud networking solutions
• Develop scalable network infrastructure designs
• Resolve advanced networking issues across data centers and enterprise environments
• Support VLAN, VxLAN, and fabric extender technologies in data centers

Minimum Requirements:

• Deep technical experience in enterprise networking
• Expertise across all areas listed above
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network problems
• Ability to design for scalability, availability, and performance
• Preferred Certifications (Not Mandatory):

CCIE, JNCIE, CCSP, or equivalent networking certifications
