The Role

At SellerX we are growing our Global Operations and now we are looking for a

Senior Merchandise Planner

to join our team.

In this key role you'll lead demand and supply planning for

soft goods

from sporting apparel to home textiles and accessories.

You'll play a big part in optimizing seasonal buys, improving margins, and keeping our inventory in top shape

Key Responsibilities:

Demand & Supply Planning:

Create and manage demand plans for soft goods, ensuring alignment with seasonal trends and business goals.

Seasonal & Sales Optimization:

Lead seasonal buy strategies to boost sales and improve margins.

Inventory Management:

Monitor stock levels to prevent overstock and stockouts, ensuring product availability.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Coordinate with planning, commercial, and operations teams to support demand fulfillment and business success.

Process Improvement:

Use data insights to enhance planning accuracy and optimize workflows.

Requirements to thrive in your new Role:

Impressive track record in demand planning, especially in soft goods and high seasonal goods like (apparel, accessories, sporting goods, home textiles). Strong data and numbers skills and commercial acumen, preferably within e-commerce space. Proven track record in managing seasonal buys and improving margin performance. Preferably with background t in forecasting, inventory control, and performance analysis using tools like PowerBI, Excel, Snowflake, NetSuite. Effective collaboration skills in fast-paced environments with a knack for streamlining planning processes.
