iqx the Technology Division of iqbusiness is seeking for an experienced

Senior Manual Tester

to join our Quality Assurance team and play a critical role in delivering high-quality banking and financial products. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers to validate functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring robust, secure, and compliant banking software solutions.

Required Skills and Experience

5+ years

of experience in manual software testing, ideally in a financial or banking environment. Strong understanding of

banking domains

such as payments, loans, credit, treasury, or regulatory reporting. Hands-on experience in

test case design

,

execution

,

defect tracking

, and

requirements validation

. Proficiency in using tools like

JIRA

,

Confluence

,

TestRail

,

ALM/QC

, or similar. Solid knowledge of

SDLC

,

Agile

,

Scrum

, and

Waterfall

methodologies. Experience working with

API testing

using tools like Postman (manual validation). Strong analytical and communication skills. Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to risk identification and mitigation.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze business requirements and technical specifications to develop detailed test cases and test scenarios. Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT testing on banking applications (web/mobile/core banking systems). Design and execute end-to-end manual test plans with a strong focus on user journeys and edge cases. Collaborate with developers and analysts to reproduce and resolve defects. Identify, document, and track defects using test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail). Participate in daily scrums, sprint planning, and retrospectives within an Agile or hybrid SDLC. Ensure test documentation meets audit and regulatory compliance standards. Support production validation and post-deployment testing as needed.
