Job Description

Manages the key performance areas and result indicators associated with the quality and conformity of design, installations, modifications and repairs phases of projects in respect of energy management systems, refrigerants and mechanical conveyors.
Key Responsibility Areas
Identifies and defines the immediate, short and long term objectives/plans associated with the delivery of mechanical building maintenance and projects services.
Directs and controls the key activities/ programmes and critical project phases encompassing installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance of mechanical building control, supply and conveying systems.
Prepares capital and operating estimates for the Branch and approves and controls operational and project related expenditure against the budget allocations.
Manages the formulation of specific contracts and tender documents and controls obligations.
Directs and controls the key activities/ programmes and critical project phases encompassing installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance of mechanical building control, supply and conveying systems.
Disseminates strategic, functional and operational information on the immediate, short and long term objectives.

Essential Requirements
Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering (NQF Level 8) in Mechanical Engineering.
Registered as a Professional Mechanical Engineer with the Engineering Council of SouthAfrica (ECSA).
Valid motor vehicle driving license
8 years relevant experience of which 5 years must be post registration experience.
