Job and Company Description:
As the incumbent, you will report directly to the Regional Head of Audit and Assurance and be tasked with overseeing and managing the Internal Audit team (3 members). To excel in this role, a strong background in the telecommunications industry with a focus on client-centric experience will be crucial.

As the Senior Audit Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Manages and supervises Internal Audit engagements.
• Leads the Annual Audit planning.
• Prepares the budget for approval by the Regional Head of Internal Audit.
• Reviews and approves engagements audit plan for the various engagements prepared by the Internal Auditors.
• Reviews and signs off on the engagement audit procedures.
• Ensures that key controls have been identified and are tested to ensure that the control environment under review is being adequately tested.
• Conduct audits in accordance with International Auditing Standards.
• Supervises and Conducts compliance engagements to established policies and procedures and regulatory guidance and legal requirements.
• Conducts meetings and discusses irregularities, exceptions, and deficiencies discovered during the audit with the areas supervisory personnel.
• Participates in the risk assessments for Fraud, Operational and Enterprise risks for the South Africa region.

• Bachelors Degree (Accounting, Internal Audit, or Equivalent)
• IIA (CIA) / CISA / CRMA / CFE
• 8 to 10 years experience within Internal Audit would be beneficial
• Telecommunications exposure or experience would be beneficial
• Senior management, Audit and Board Committee reporting (At least one year)
