Senior Logistics Coordinator

Job Description
My client is seeking an experienced and result driven Import Coordinator to join our dynamic team, based in South Africa. The individual is responsible for coordinating and managing international shipments for timely and efficient delivery of goods and services to our customers.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Be service centric and be able to maintain a good relationship with customers.
- Collaborate with vendors to identify and eliminate logistics obstacles to ensure safe and timely shipping of products.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Minimum 5 years working experience in Clearing and Forwarding environment.
- Excellent organizational, time management and coordination skills
- Experienced in air, sea and road modes of transport.
- Understanding of international regulations and Customs formalities.
- Solid computer systems
