SUMMARY:The University of Fort Hare is seeking applications from appropriately qualified and experienced candidates for a Senior Lecturer/Lecturer Agribusiness (1 post),in the Faculty of Science and Agriculture.POSITION INFO:Senior Lecturer: AgribusinessMinimum Requirements:

• A relevant Doctoral Degree
• At least 3 years experience in higher education
• Undergraduate and postgraduate

and research experience in Agribusiness * A record of accredited research publications commensurate with the academic rank of Senior Lecturer

• Postgraduate supervision experience including successful Masters/Doctoral supervision commensurate with the academic rank of Senior Lecturer

Duties:

• Participate in research; curriculum design, development, and implementation
• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate modules
• Meet research publication requirements for the academic rank of senior lecturer level
• Secure external research grants
• Supervise postgraduate students
• Establish institutional, regional or national collaborations
• Contribute to mentorship of emergent academic staff
• Participate in community engagement integrated with teaching and/or research
• Participate in administrative duties at departmental, faculty and university levels

Lecturer: AgribusinessMinimum Requirements:

• A relevant Masters Degree and registered for a Doctoral Degree
• At least 1 years experience in higher education or Qualification/courses in higher education teaching and learning
• Undergraduate teaching experience in Agribusiness
• Research publications or successful supervision or successful research grant funding
