Duties & Responsibilities

Connecting and setting up hardware. Installing workstations and servers. Loading all necessary software. Providing network access and connectivity. Monitoring security. Advising management about any security breaches Ensuring that lock out programs are installed. Troubleshooting all issues in a timely manner. Maintaining a list of necessary maintenance and repairs as per the internal call logging system. Researching both current and potential services and resources. Identifying and preparing hardware for safe disposal. Ensuring hardware is secured and stripped before disposal. Troubleshooting network operating system, software, and hardware. Monitor and maintain the server, software, and back-ups. Adheres to standby policy enforcing a 1-hour SLA. Actions physical back-ups in Sabie area and check all other sites for backup success. Make quarterly back-ups of all production PC's. Take ownership of server backup software.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Grade 12 or equivalent. IT Diploma / IT Degree. Active Directory, Entra ID, Fibre optic and networking. A+, N+, Microsoft Certifications. At least 5 years in a similar Information Technology environment. Microsoft Office 365. Microsoft Exchange and Exchange Online. Microsoft Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 10 Windows 11 systems. Microsoft Server systems 2012 - 2025 Valid Code 8 license. Knowledge of server hardware and software, troubleshooting methodology, Programming of hardware and Information technology principles Ability to work on numerous tasks at the same time. Effective communication, confidentiality, and integrity skills. Trustworthy, loyal, and committed individual that will always put the company's best interest at heart.

Pay: R20000,00 - R30000,00 per month

Sabie, Mpumalanga (Thaba Chweu, Ehlanzeni): Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
