A large hospitality / leisure company seeks the expertize of a Senior Network Engineer to manage and maintain the Groupxe2x80x99s MS-based server & network infrastructure in its totality both onsite and for the resorts (off-site)

Responsibilities: * Manage and maintain the organization's Microsoft-based server and network infrastructure.

• Work with the IT Manager to develop strategic plans for the future of the company's IT infrastructure, including the design and implementation of new systems and technologies.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high levels of availability and security.
• Implement and maintain security systems, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
• Lead the design and implementation of new IT projects and system upgrades.
• Provide third-level support for IT helpdesk, troubleshooting complex technical issues.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks, servers, and systems.
• Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
• Participate in the selection and deployment of new hardware and software.
• Conduct training sessions to improve the IT skills of staff and keep them informed about new IT developments.
• There are also responsibilities such as CCTV, Generator Checks and Physical Security items like access tags.

Qualifications:

• MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) / equivalent qual,
• Matric

Must be / have:

• Above average IT Knowledge (hardware + software)
• Min of 2 yrs exp in the IT field
• Willing / able to xe2x80x93 if need be xe2x80x93 work (sleep over) @ resorts nationwide
