Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proven experience as an IT manager or similar senior-level role.
• Extensive experience with Syspro ERP system.
• Strong IT project management experience
• Experience managing IT professionals, and third-party consultants .
• Proven track record of implementing IT infrastructure, networking, and security best practices.
• Strong commercial mindset and business acumen
• Experience in managing budgets & cost control
• Strategic thinking and the ability to align IT with organizational goals.
• Project management certification would be beneficial (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2).
• Syspro certification or training.
• Familiarity with cloud computing and inhouse IT solutions
• Ability to work effectively across various departments.
• Ability to working independently, whilst servicing internal stakeholders

Duties and Responsibilities:
Syspro Expertise:

• Serve as the in-house Syspro subject matter expert, providing guidance on its configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Manage third-party Syspro service providers ensuring issues are resolved timeously, SLAs are adhered to, and business objectives are achieved.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that Syspro aligns with business goals and processes.
• In collaboration with third-party service providers, oversee Syspro updates, patches, and enhancements

Project Management:

• Lead and manage IT projects, from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Alongside business owners, develop detailed project plans, allocate resources, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Mitigate risks and resolve issues that may arise during project execution

Team Leadership:

• Manage and mentor the IT Systems Administrator, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and provide professional development opportunities for team members.

IT Infrastructure Management:

• In collaboration with third party service providers, oversee the maintenance and optimization of the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and hardware.
• Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• In collaboration with third party service providers, plan for and implement IT infrastructure upgrades as needed

Vendor Management:

• Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers to ensure the availability and performance of IT systems and services.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure cost-effective solutions.

Budgeting and Cost Control:

• Develop and manage the IT department's budget, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and optimization.

Strategic Planning:

• Work with the Systems and Supply exec and senior leadership to align IT strategies with the organization's overall strategic objectives.
• Provide input into the development of the IT roadmap and technology initiatives.
