Senior It Auditor
Job Description
Have you mastered the art of auditing? Fluent in CISA (yup, the certified kind), and got a knack for uncovering risks before they even happen? We're on the hunt for an audit ace to join a JSE listed giant in a role that blends tech, strategy, and a little bit of detective work.
You'll work side-by-side with a sharp Audit Manager, putting controls to the test, advising stakeholders, and digging into juicy projects that touch every corner of the business.
Bonus points if you love translating data into insights and turning risks into resilience.
What You'll Get To Do (And Shine At):
- Lead and plan audit assignments with a strategic lens
- Identify and assess business and IT risks across operations
- Review and enhance internal control frameworks
- Guide stakeholders on IT risk and control best practices
- Dive into gap analysis, recommend mitigation strategies
- Build and implement tools to analyse data and drive audit efficiency
- Review and maintain policies and procedures
- Provide insight into IT governance, application controls, cybersecurity and business continuity
- Collaborate on broader group-level IT projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- BCom (Hons) in Accounting/Internal Audit/IS/IT
- CIA/CISA
- Experience with TeamMate and/or ACL
- 5+ years of combined IT and internal audit experience
- Strong communication skills and a curious, analytical mindset
