We have a terrific hybrid working opportunity for a Senior Integrated Designer at an exciting full service creative agency in Durban. We're looking for someone with the experience, skills, and aptitude to conceptualise and execute quality and innovative campaigns spanning traditional, digital and web for FMCG and B2B clients.

The successful candidate will work in sync with the Creative Director (in Cape Town), Content Strategist, Campaign Strategist, and Digital Strategist. You will help coordinate the quality of the work of an experienced small studio.

The ideal candidate comes with multi-disciplinary skills, a strategic mindset, a deep understanding of usability and visual design principles. You are digital-first, tech-aware, and exhibit high levels of energy and ability in terms of creative conceptualisation and creative team management. Responsibilities

• Create work that consistently and clearly communicates our clients' brand identities, positioning and messaging through all touchpoints
• Create work that aligns to clients' business objectives and delivers on their KPAs
• Manage and contribute to ideation and workshop sessions
• Manage a project from brief to execution
• Storyboard and art direct shoots
• Cast talent for TV, content, radio, and to direct voice recordings xe2x80x93 if required
• Create brief and production documents for external production partners
• Craft creative rationales and presentation decks
• Able to present and explain thinking with the internal team and clients.

Requirements

The successful candidate must have/be:

• Relevant Visual Communications Degree/Diploma
• A foundation of Traditional Design with a minimum of 5 years of Digital experience, particularly Web, Social, Video for Social, Display
• A few years of creative team management
• Contemporary visual design skills xe2x80x93 passionate about layout, typography, web, and video/motion design
• Highly proficient in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and familiar with WordPress
• After Effects, Premiere Pro and basic coding abilities are an advantage
• Knowledge of design requirements, ad unit formats, and best practice for platforms such as Meta, TikTok and Google
• Usability understanding and experience with the ability to interpret and make decisions based on UX insights such as personas and user journeys
• Understand the importance of responsive grid systems layout, typography, colour theory, iconography, image animations, and transitions in a digital space
• An understanding of complementary disciplines such as SEO, data analytics, brand development and multichannel marketing
• Knowledge of industry work tools such as Miro, Google Docs, Teams & Office 365
• Good presentation skills
• Strong communication skills, keeping traffic and creative partners informed on progress, and work comfortably in a collaborative environment
• Multi-tasking skills, able to work under pressure and on more than one brief at any given time
• Time management skills, able to deliver work to scheduled deadlines
• A keen interest in emerging technologies
