Job Description
Pangea Professional Services is looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Information System Officer to join our team. In this key role, you will oversee the planning, development, implementation, and management of information systems that support the organization's goals and operational needs. You will work closely with various departments to analyze their information needs and design systems that improve efficiency and effectiveness. Your expertise will ensure that our information systems are secure, reliable, and scalable to meet ongoing and future demands.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in information systems management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of database management, software development, and information security.
- Experience with system integration, analysis, and optimization.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and provide effective solutions.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in relevant programming languages and technologies.
- Experience with cloud computing and virtual environments is an advantage.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP) are highly desirable.
