As a key player their transformative HR function, you'll be at the forefront of shaping the future of manufacturing excellence. They are seeking a seasoned and highly educated Senior HR Business Partner to bring a wealth of insights and education to the table, contributing significantly the HR strategies and initiatives.

Main outputs and responsibilities:

Development of the Company HR Talent and Risk Management Policies and Plans as per the Business and HR Strategy of the company

  • Build a talent culture which defines the organisation's philosophy, principles and integrated approach to talent, which leverages diversity and is communicated in a clear employment value proposition
  • Draw up a relevant Recruitment Policy and Selection Policy that will attract a sustainable talent pool for current objectives and future organisational needs.
Review of the Policies and Procedures and company practice that is associated with the developed HR Standards associated with the different Pillars of HR Management

People Management Architecture:
  • Organisational Development:
  • Identify and implement business-appropriate structures for a growing business in support of a high-performance culture to enable the achievement of the organisation's strategic objectives.
  • Workforce Planning:
  • Identify and map a competency framework for key organisational and future critical roles.
  • Develop a strategic succession plan inclusive of the development and retention of business-critical IP. The succession plan must be aligned to the Talent Plan and Risk Plan of the business.
  • Learning and Development:
  • Conducting thorough learning needs analyses (using different inputs such as information received from EE Meetings, good practice, Performance Appraisal information etc).
  • Development and design of learning solutions that lead to improved workplace performance.
  • Performance Management:
  • Support and entrench the development of the appropriate responsibility and accountability structures vertically into the teams through the development of s where required, implementing performance appraisal system and facilitating the development of productivity mindset and measurables across all employee levels
  • Train and coach the HR and Operations teams to sustain these initiatives within the allocated cost structures going forward.
  • Develop courses and and train these courses for different groups of employees. Ensure courses are aligned with Peoples Manual.
Assess the effect of this training on employees understanding of the business in general, HR Standards etc. * Develop competencies that can be expected from groups of wage employees, train these and measure the employees understanding of their world of work in the organisations context.
  • Coach employees, as relevant, based on training given to ensure understanding and alignment with the organisation's objectives.
Requirements:

Education:
  • Bachelors' Degree in Arts (HR or Ind. Psycho or Ind.Socio), or Commerce (HR or IR).
  • Honours Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in HR or IR.
  • Masters' Degree in Ind. Psycho, HR or IR a big advantage.
Experience
  • Extensive experience in this field in an organisation where the standards and principles have
been in practice and delivered results. * Manufacturing experience is an advantage.
  • MEIBC experience and exposure to PIMCA
  • Leadership Development and Coaching Experience
Knowledge:
  • SHE knowledge
  • ISO knowledge
  • Sound HR and IR knowledge
  • Experience in strategic planning
