Senior Group Accountant

Job Summary Job & Company Description:
My client operates in South Africa as a multinational oil and gas company with various business activities that has operated in Africa for over 100 years. With over 500 sites this group accountant is needed in their finance team.
The incumbent will be analysis and reporting (Including managing SARS requirements), prepare financial reports, constantly monitoring and reporting all deviations from budget, ensure timely and efficient processing of the month-end closing process, interact with other departments to review and analyses departmental financial statements, review all balance sheet accounts, monthly reconciliations and any journal entries that may be needed at month end, prepare monthly pack for the unit, prepare, review, and approve recons, calculate interest on long term loans and operational, interest for forecast and budgeting purposes, prepare SARS documentation and information as required (VAT returns), Completing and submission of Company corporate tax on one source, weekly cash flow management.
Qualification and Skills Required:
- BCom xe2x80x93 Financial Accounting
- SAIPA or SAICA articles.
- 5-10 yearsxe2x80x99 experience.
- SAP and Power BI experience advantageous.
- Experience in the FMCG, Manufacturing and Retail advantageous.
