Job Summary Description:
Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for an experienced Senior Geologist to join their mining company based in Gauteng.
Responsibilities:

• Overseeing quality control processes within both operational and field environments.
• Conducting geological modelling using advanced 3D software.
• Compiling, organizing, and processing geological data for analysis and reporting.
• Maintaining and updating geological models to ensure accuracy.
• Preparing geological and geographical maps to support operational needs.
• Managing and interpreting spatial data for effective decision-making.
• Reviewing and evaluating external geological information and documentation.
• Overseeing mineral resource management activities.
• Implementing and maintaining quality management systems within the organization.
• Managing production and quality functions of on-site laboratory operations.
• Coordinating and preparing documentation for tender submissions when required.
• Managing and controlling departmental budgets to ensure cost efficiency.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• BSc Degree in Geology or related
• Proficient in Geological software (Minex)
• 5 years' experience as a geologist within the mining industry
• Extensive experience in exploration drilling
• Valid Driver's License
