  • Keeps books and accounting records of financial transactions.
  • Reconciles and balances all accounts such as bank, debtors, and creditors.
  • Verifies, allocates and posts details of business transactions.
  • Collates required supporting documentation.
  • Reconciles reimbursements.
  • Data capturing on accounting system (QuickBooks) and invoice uploading on QuickBooks.
  • Capture and sending monthly invoices to tenants.
  • Weekly Payments preparation, verification and reconciliation and loading of Payments on
  • online banking
  • Maintaining financial files and capturing excel summaries.
  • Debtor collections
  • Maintaining FAR and CGT
  • Capturing of month end journals
  • Follow up on outstanding documentation such as invoices, statements, supplier contracts.
  • Tracking that regular payments are made in time.
  • Assisting with annual audit
  • Assisting with the month-end and year-end close processes
  • Sending out monthly reports
  • Updating Property R&M costs as well as the quarterly property FCF reporting
  • Tracking leave
  • Ensuring all contracts and FICA documentation are filed, scanned, and saved on google drive.
  • Assisting with drafting of resolutions
  • Assisting with compliance administration
Work experience required:
  • Minimum 5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a similar role
  • QuickBooks experience is advantageous.
  • Property finance experience advantageous
  • Relevant finance degree / SAIPA or SAICA Articles
