: Senior Financial Accountant Location : Foreshore, Cape Town Position Type : Permanent - Full time Start Date : Immediately Salary : Market - Related Position Overview : The Senior Financial Accountant is responsible for the accounting, reporting and internal control functions of the Finance department. This position will report to the Finance Manager. Required Knowledge And Experience

• Educational level CA (SA) ; Non- Negotiable
• Experience with integrated ERP systems.
• At least 5 years proven experience in a similar role, particularly with regards to Inventory systems and internal controls in production/manufacturing environments: Non- Negotiable
• Skills and knowledge Expert/ Advanced MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Able to work accurately, with an eye for detail
• Grasp new concepts, approaches and systems easily and quickly.
• Solution driven mindset.

Responsibilities : 1.IFRS Compliance

• Full responsibility for the accurate application of IFRS 16, including modifications and adjustments.
• Full responsibility for the accurate application of IFRS 9 and IFRS 15.
• Ensure that all other relevant IFRS standards are adhered to, keeping up to date with changes and recommending adjustments where necessary.

2. Financial Reporting

• Management and review of monthly and annual balance sheet reconciliations.
• Preparation of month end schedules and management reports
• Preparation of Onestream reporting.
• Manage the external audit

3. Taxation

• Preparing Transfer pricing (TP) questionnaire on a quarterly basis and attending to other TP requirements and submissions as required.
• Reviewing Income tax calculations and submissions.
• Assist with any taxation requests from the Finance Manager.

4. Budgets and Forecasts

• Full responsibility for the preparation of the annual budget.
• Loading budgets onto ERP system.

5. Internal Controls, Workflows and Standard Operating Procedures

• Documenting and monitoring risk-based internal controls.
• Developing and managing an internal controls matrix.
• Documenting and maintaining SoPxe2x80x99s for all processes within the Finance department.
