As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will play a crucial role in the transformation of our client's finance function into a "World Class" operation. You will be responsible for producing accurate and complete financial reporting for the operating entities within your remit, as well as managing a team of financial accountants and bookkeepers. You will have the opportunity to drive best practices, improve reporting quality, and contribute to various finance improvement projects, including system implementations and business maturity workstreams.

Responsibilities:

Ensure the valid, accurate, and complete presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results

Review and submit various statutory and tax obligations in the geographies our client operates in

Manage a team of financial accountants and bookkeepers, providing guidance and support

Collaborate with internal departments to solve commercial issues and improve processes

Assist in the delivery of year-end audits and statutory financial statements

Requirements:

CA(SA) or equivalent qualification

3-5 years of post-articles experience

Experience with multi-national group structures, preferably in Africa or the UK

Knowledge of finance business systems, preferably Netsuite

Experience in preparing/reviewing VAT and Corporate tax returns

Outside Capital
