Job Description
Calling all Immediately Available Senior Finance Managers to join one of the leading property organisations based in Johannesburg North, Gauteng. This role is a 3-month fixed term contract.
Are you a skilled and detail-oriented Finance Manager with a passion for the real estate industry? Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to showcase your financial expertise and contribute to the success of a growing property management company? If so, we have the perfect role for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Take control of the entire finance function for one of their divisions.
- Monthly review of the Finance Manager's work and ensure that the accounting division runs smoothly and deadlines are met.
- Monthly review of balance sheet recons. This includes all balance sheet accounts.
- Monthly high level review of all income statements to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
- Prepare fixed asset register and wear and tear register.
- Assist with utility schedules on a quarterly basis.
- Assist with BEE reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CA(SA) designation is advantageous.
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager, preferably within the property management industry.
- Great working knowledge of MDA.
- Strong IFRS knowledge.
