We are seeking unique people who believe in fostering a diverse and inclusive environment.We're on the lookout for an experienced Senior Boiler Engineer to provide effective Mechanical Engineering support to maximise Boiler performance in a safe, legal, and cost-effective manner.As the Senior Boiler Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Development, implementation and maintain standards and schedules/BPs to increase boiler plant and equipment reliability and safe operation.
• Conducting audits to ensure compliance with standards and adherence to legal requirements.
• Ensure compliance with maintenance business processes within his area of responsibility.
• Ensure that failure analysis of plant and equipment failures is completed as per the plant standard and that the probable root causes have been identified and closed out.
• Assist the Maintenance Manager with long-term maintenance planning (renewals, capex, and maintenance and project work execution).
• Budget and manage renewals and capex on behalf of the Maintenance Manager.
• Management of maintenance contracts related to boilers and other boiler projects, contractors, and alliances within his area of responsibility.
• Manage resources effectively.
• Manage boiler inspection reports and repair data books. Utilise boiler inspection reports, analyse and interpret these reports and information to determine deterioration and wear for the purpose of live enhancement projects. This includes responsibility to ensure data integrity.
• Draft monthly reports summarising projects and investigations undertaken and the status thereof.
• Facilitate meetings, present and motivate and justify proposals and ensure buy-in by the team to plan.
• Prepare and execute the works during shutdowns.
• Inspect the internal condition of the boilers during shutdowns in relation with the AIA to obtain a C.O.C. after any modification and/or repairs.

What are we looking for?

• BSc / B.Eng. / B.Tech in Engineering Mechanical
• MDP or relevant management qualification advantageous
• Pr.Eng advantageous
• GCC advantageous
• 5 Years of Boiler and Turbine experience
• Recovery Boiler experience advantageous
• Pulp and Paper Industry experience advantageous
