Job Description
Leading international consulting engineering firm is looking for a Senior Energy Consultant with a focus on Wind power to join their Energy Division in Cape Town or Johannesburg.
Requirements:
- BSc. or BEng. Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Preferably with a further qualification in renewable energy
- Professionally registered with ECSA
- Around 8 or more years relevant experience
- Recognizable experience relevant in the energy sector with specific exposure to the renewable energy and in particular Wind Power.
- Project Management and support to lead and deliver technical advisory, owner's engineer and design services within the renewable energy sector for clients
- Preparing and delivery of bids and proposals and writing technical reports and presentations, checking and reviewing reports, drawings and presentations by others.
- Driving the development of more junior energy team members across the South African offices via mentoring and provision of technical and commercial guidance.
