Candidate Requirements:

Grade 12
A tertiary qualification in Travel & Tourism/Hospitality
Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in, and knowledge of East Africa safari sales or have a proven track record in safari sales to Southern Africa (Botswana, Zambia, Namibia, Zimbabwe, and South Africa)
Must have previous experience in a retail sales role for an African inbound operator
Must have a minimum of at least 10 years of experience skilled in designing detailed and individualised quotes for itinerary requests
Must have excellent sales & customer service skills and the ability to close a sale and upsell
Must have exceptional communication skills (written & telephone)
Have a service delivery mindset and a strong customer service focus
Be target-orientated and experienced in delivering results in a performance-oriented and fast-paced sales environment
Have strong administrative and organisational skills with great attention to detail with a desire for continuous improvement
Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks
Have a proactive mindset and can-do attitude
Meticulous attention to detail
Must have the ability to work independently, in a broader team setup and work well under pressure
Excellent communication skills both written and oral, with proven English literacy
Ability to work under pressure without compromising accuracy
