Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced

Red Seal Diesel Mechanic

to join our team. This senior position requires someone with strong technical expertise, proven leadership in a workshop environment, and the ability to deliver high quality service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and carry out repairs and maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems of our equipment. Perform detailed inspections and diagnostics to ensure optimal equipment performance. Conduct and manage Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI), ensuring all equipment meets company standards before delivery. Support delivery processes, including on-site operational training, testing, and equipment handovers when required. Manage workshop scheduling, job allocation, and vehicle maintenance to ensure efficient workflow. Maintain accurate records of repairs, services, stock movements, and workshop activities. Provide remote troubleshooting and technical support to clients and collaborate with the Sales team on customer requirements. Support the improvement of workshop systems and procedures.

Requirements:

Red Seal qualified Diesel Mechanic (Required) Minimum 5 years hands on diesel mechanic experience prior to Red Seal Qualification. Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Valid driver's license and reliable own transport.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R19000,00 - R23000,00 per month
