We are seeking a meticulous Senior Debtors Controller to join our finance team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounts receivable and
maintaining accurate financial records. This role requires strong attention to detail,
excellent organisational skills and a sold understanding of accounting principles
REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE

PRIMARY FUNCTION
Full Debtors function

• Engage with Debtors on a professional manner
• Debtors reconciliations
• Maintaining debtors files and supporting documentation
• Daily / Weekly / Monthly Reporting to management on outstanding debtors
• Follow up on all Debtors enquiries received
• Resolving daily Debtors queries

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS
Accounting

• Maintaining financial records
• Posting of certain financial transactions
• Responsible for accounting of small family entities

Accounts Receivable and Payable

• Manage accounts receivable, document bills, ensure timely payment of invoices, and confirm the validity of debts.
• Ensure discounts and terms are captured accurately.

Reconciliations

• Perform certain general ledger account reconciliations and investigate variances for correction.

Support Financial Manager

• Provide support to senior accountants in various financial tasks and projects

Reporting

• Preparation and posting of intercompany invoicing
• Preparation and distribution of debtors statements
• Preparation of monthly standard invoices

General

• Corporate Credit Card administration
• Fuel Card administration
• Performs other tasks as requested.
• Assists with accounting projects.
• Responsible for cellphone and overseas travel reconciliations.
