Job Summary:

The Senior Data Analysis Specialist will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets to provide insights and recommendations to inform decision-making within the public sector. This role will involve implementing statistical techniques, developing data models, and using various data visualization tools to present findings to internal and external stakeholders.



Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives and data requirements Analyze large datasets using statistical software and programming languages Develop predictive models and data visualizations to identify trends and patterns Conduct rigorous testing and validation of data models to ensure accuracy and reliability Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to leadership Provide training and support to other team members on best practices in data analysis


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, or a related field; master's degree preferred At least 5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the public sector Proficiency in statistical software and programming languages such as R, Python, and SQL Experience developing data models and using data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
