Durban KZN, experienced Senior Creative required for Advertising Agency. A creative and curious, detail oriented team player with a learning and sharing mind-set.
Must have the skills and aptitude to conceptualise and execute quality and innovative campaigns spanning traditional, digital and web for FMCG and B2B clients.
Must have multi-disciplinary skills, a strategic mindset, a deep understanding of usability and visual design principles, be digital-first, tech-aware, and exhibit high levels of energy and ability in terms of creative conceptualisation and creative team management.

Requirements

• Matric
• Relevant tertiary qualification
• Minimum of 5 years of digital experience in web, social, video for social, display and traditional design
• Ability to manage a team
• Highly proficient in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and familiar with WordPress.
• After Effects, Premiere Pro and basic coding abilities are an advantage.
• Knowledge of design requirements, ad unit formats, and best practice for platforms such as Meta, TikTok and Google.
• Contemporary visual design skills - passionate about layout, typography, web and video/motion design.
• Understand the importance of responsive grid systems layout, typography, colour theory, iconography, image animations, and transitions in a digital space.
• Usability understanding
• An understanding of complimentary disciplines such as SEO, data analytics, brand development and multichannel marketing.
• Ability to create work that consistently and clearly communicates the clientsxe2x80x99 brand
• Ability to manage a project from brief to execution.
• Ability to storyboard and art direct shoots.
• Ability to cast talent for TV, content, radio, and to direct voice recordings if required.
• Create brief and production documents for external production partners.
• Good presentation skills - able to present and explain thinking with internal team and clients.
• Time management skills, able to deliver work to scheduled deadlines.
