Senior Corporate Actuarial Analyst

Job Description
A leading South African insurance group is growing its Corporate Actuarial team and is looking for a Senior Corporate Actuarial Analyst to play a key role in reserving and capital analytics across Gauteng.
What you'll be doing:
- Building and refining reserving and capital models, transforming data into clear insights for quarterly and annual reviews.
- Presenting your findings to senior stakeholders while supporting reinsurance, investments, and capital management teams.
- Contributing to ORSA, stress and scenario testing, and solvency projections.
- Supporting annual planning and reinsurance renewals with practical, data-led analysis.
- Applying your IFRS 17 expertise to strengthen reporting and ensure compliance.
- A degree in Actuarial Science (or related), with solid exam progress towards qualification.
- Around 5 years of actuarial experience, with a strong track record of building models from the ground up.
- Confidence using reserving and capital modelling tools like Psicle, Igloo, or ResQ.
- A detail-focused, proactive thinker who enjoys collaborating and delivering under deadlines.
