The Role

Our Strategic Relations team seeks an experienced Coordinator passionate about enhancing team performance. This role involves strong execution and strategical planning of activities related to Harambee's duties in the Presidential Youth Employment Intervention (PYEI). The role demands meticulous attention to detail, strong governance skills, logical thinking, and a love for problem-solving. You must be collaborative, able to thrive in a results-driven team, and prioritise effective relationship management.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate the planning, execution, and monitoring of multiple projects and activities with multiple stakeholders, reporting on progress against goals. Ensure governance requirements are met and manage document repositories across key stakeholders. Organise and participate in meetings, workshops, and events related to initiatives. Proactively synthesise insights from partner engagements to enhance impact for stakeholders. Support data collection, analysis, and reporting to inform decision-making and improve project outcomes. Maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders and partners to ensure effective collaboration and engagement. Perform other duties as assigned by the Programme Manager to deliver results. Support creation of inclusive environments where all voices are heard.

Minimum requirements

Must Haves

Matric / Grade 12 or Relevant Certificates. 5 years' experience in project management. Demonstrated success in managing complex partnerships and delivering measurable outcomes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Examples of previous roles where you successfully coordinated cross-functional teams and managed high-impact projects

Advantageous

Post-matric qualification in relevant fields (e.g., Project Management, Business Administration, Social Sciences). Proficiency in CRM tools (HubSpot, Power BI etc.). Depth of knowledge of youth employment initiatives. Strong command of dynamics in the South African labour market
