Senior Compliance Manager

Salary (R1,200 000 Negotiable) PA Permanent

Location: Head/Regional Office(Rosebank)

Our client is one of the largest independent owners, operators and developers of shared telecommunications infrastructure, or tower operators in the world by tower count with over 30,000 towers across nine operating countries. They are leading in market positions in Cameroon, Cxc3xb4te dIvoire, Nigeria, Kuwait, Rwanda, Zambia and is continuing to grow its business in Brazil, Columbia, Peru, Egypt and South Africa.

Role:

• Ensuring that our company follows the rules and regulations that govern their industry.
• Work with a team of other compliance professionals to develop and implement policies, procedures, and training programs related to regulatory compliance.
• Manage through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity.
• Provide input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility.
• Give input into developing the budget.
• Maintain documentation of compliance activities, such as complaints received or investigation outcomes.
• Review documentation, such as procurement records, to ensure there are no violations of standards or regulations.
• Provide employee training on compliance-related topics, policies, or procedures.
• Monitor the implementation of company policies and procedures

Professional Requirements:

• Experience of 10+ years in a Compliance Manager Role.
• Bachelors Degree or a Technical Bachelors Diploma/Degree in combination with relevant business or finance certification.
• Must be coming from the telecoms (ICT) Industry.
