Job Description

We are looking for a customer orientated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to join our Call Centre team. You will be responsible for receiving and handling telephone enquiries and action accordingly.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Receiving and handling telephone policy enquires and action accordingly.
• Address all outstanding requirements on new applications.
• Provide enquiry numbers on claims to branches and follow up on unpaid claims.
• Follow up on non-payments of premiums and incorrect deductions.
• Provide feedback on outstanding accounts and refunds.
• Attend to new addition of lives and removal of lives on policies.
• Inform clients/ policyholders and brokers of the policy values.
• Send policy information to clients/ policyholders.
• Assist clients with reinstatements, loans and stop payments.

REQUIREMENTS:

• You should be in possession of a Grade 12 certificate.
• You should be in possession of a RE 5 qualification.
• You should be in possession of 140 credits in long term insurance.
• You should have 3 years experience in the Life Insurance Industry.
• Experience in a client service policy maintenance environment.
• Analytical and leadership skills.
• You should have the ability to work independently, show initiative and to be responsible.
