Job Description


Job Title: Senior ChefResponsibilities:

  • Conceptualize, create, and execute innovative and exceptional dishes that align with the restaurant's culinary vision.
  • Oversee the kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, presentation, and timely service.
  • Develop and refine menus, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends while adhering to Michelin standards.
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to source premium and sustainable ingredients of the highest quality.
  • Maintain kitchen hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards in accordance with industry regulations.
  • Continuously strive for culinary excellence, staying abreast of industry trends, techniques, and flavour profiles.
  • Manage kitchen budgets, control costs, and optimize resource utilization without compromising quality.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an executive chef or head chef in a Michelin-starred restaurant.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent certification from a recognized institution.
  • Exceptional knowledge of international cuisines, cooking techniques, and flavor profiles.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and execute refined and inventive dishes.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performance culinary team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Keen attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for delivering an exceptional dining experience.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
