My client operates within the construction sector and is recognized for its expertise in formwork and scaffolding solutions. The company prioritizes quality and safety in its contributions to various construction projects.
You will lead the Procurement Department, taking charge of all purchasing activities, reviewing and refining the entire buying process. Your role also includes developing innovative negotiation techniques, managing vendor relationships, ensuring cost-effective procurement, and contributing to strategic sourcing initiatives. Additionally, you'll play a crucial part in supplier assessment and selection to enhance the company's supply chain efficiency.
The incumbent will be reporting into the Head of Operations.
Job experience and Skills Required:
- A bachelors degree in supply chain, procurement Management and/or Engineering required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Supply Chain,
- In-depth knowledge of Middle East market and regulations.
- Strong background in construction procurement
- Proven ability to drive cost savings and supplier performance improvements.
