My client, a global pharmaceutical manufacturing company located in Gauteng, has a history of more than a century in operation and has established its presence globally. They are currently seeking an adept Senior Buyer to become part of their dynamic and high-speed setting.
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the deliverables of the role include processing orders, purchase requisitions received from the business, developing and implementing sourcing strategies and supply contracts for commodity spend as well as ensuring best value for money in conjunction with the achievement of BBBEE objectives.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Degree in Supply Chain management/Procurement or Purchasing
- 8 10 years of Procurement or Purchasing within the manufacturing space
- Must have supplier management and commodity buying experience.
- Must be proficient in SAP
