SUMMARY:
Senior Business Solutions Analyst - Insurance Sector Are you a strategic thinker with strong business analysis expertise and a passion for designing impactful insurance solutions? A leading player in the financial services industry is looking for a Senior Business Solutions Analyst to join their team, driving solution design and business innovation across the short-term commercial insurance space.
About the Role: As a Business Solutions Analyst, you'll be a key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders. You'll play a crucial role in identifying business challenges, defining functional requirements, and crafting innovative, client-centric solutions aligned with best practice standards and SDLC methodologies.
POSITION INFO:
What You'll Be Doing:

• Facilitate stakeholder engagements to gather and define business and technical requirements
• Document current and future-state business processes, functional specs, and solution designs
• Model business processes and systems using tools like activity/sequence diagrams and use cases
• Support the solution architecture process alongside architects, developers, and test analysts
• Lead or participate in Agile ceremonies (including Scrum, JAD sessions) where required
• Translate complex challenges into efficient, scalable, and re-usable solution components
• Collaborate on data modelling and integration requirements
• Identify and champion continuous improvement opportunities
• Contribute to training materials, user guides, and support documentation

Minimum Requirements:

• 7+ years' experience in business analysis roles
• 5+ years' experience within the short-term commercial insurance industry
• Proven track record in business process design and stakeholder collaboration
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture and SDLC documentation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability

Bonus If You Have:

• IIBA membership and/or CBAP certification
• Background in industrial

or process re-engineering * Exposure to XML schema design

• Experience in leading scrum ceremonies or Agile delivery cycles
