Independently market and develop new large corporate client relationships and expand client base
On-boarding new corporate customers for loans, deposits, foreign exchange business, trade finance according to the bank's relevant policies and procedures
Work together with other colleagues as a team to reach the quarterly/annual targets set by the bank, be accountable for obtaining quarterly and annual targets
Maintain sound relationships with clients, dealing with requests from clients, point of contact for client requests
Ad hoc duties as assigned by the management
Requirements
B Com Marketing
FSCA qualification of RE1 or RE5
8 years of working experience in a corporate and investment banking (CIB) environment, credit experience
4 years of managerial experience
Familiar with providing corporate banking including general banking facilities, revolving credit facilities, term loans, project finance, and syndication loan business to large corporate clients in South Africa
Significant knowledge of the financial industry
Good knowledge of FICA, FAIS, Company's Act, and Banks Act, as well as any other legislation and regulations related to the corporate banking business
Good marketing skills, people skills, strong ability of communication and coordination
Work well under pressure and deadlines
Adopting and responding to changes
Strong analytical skills and problem solving ability
Proven track of records including currently maintaining the relationship of the industry-leading SA companies and the approved credit limit to a single corporate client is over R200 million.
