Join us.AECOM is currently recruiting for the role of Senior BIM Coordinator (Civils), this position is responsible for managing the implementation of BIM and Information Management on civils projects for Enterprise Capabilities. This position will offer a hybrid work schedule to include both office and remote work opportunities based from one of 4 office locations in South Africa.Roles and Responsibilities:

• BIM Implementation Execution xe2x80x93 execute the BIM Implementation strategy on complex international projects
• CDE Admin xe2x80x93 provide CDE administration to project teams, manage permissions, complete model-setup in ACC/BIM360 and/or ProjectWise
• Multi-Discipline Coordination xe2x80x93 lead and execute project coordination workflows, create federated model, condition modelxe2x80x99s data as necessary, lead and execute clash detection on models, lead BIM coordination meetings and support project teams with project issuexe2x80x99s management using either ACC/BIM360, Navisworks or Revizto
• Information Management xe2x80x93 coordinate smart object metadata and classification codes with asset information databases
• Technical Support xe2x80x93 provide advanced guidance on 3D modelling and data management and oversee project teams using either the Bentley suite; OpenBridge, OpenRoads, OpenBuildings, MicroStation or the Autodesk suite; Civil 3D, InfraWorks, Revit.
• Scan-to-BIM - integrate Point Clouds in the projectxe2x80x99s federated model dataset and implement the Scan-to-BIM workflow
• 4D Simulation xe2x80x93 create simulations and animations of transport and civil infrastructure projects using InfraWorks, Navisworks, or Bentley Descartes and Lumen RT. Implement phasing in BIM models and produce 4D construction simulations with Navisworks and Synchro or similar
• Content Creation xe2x80x93 support the production and creation of smart object content libraries & templates (parametric Revit families, Revit templates, Civil 3D component catalogues) and support the maintenance of AECOMxe2x80x99s content management repositories (Avail/UNIFI)
• Collaboration xe2x80x93 be an ambassador for collaboration with other BIM / Information Management team members from different Enterprise Capabilities offices (Spain, Poland, India, South Africa, Romania, etc). Drive consistency in standards and best practice approaches for BIM across regions

QualificationsMinimum Requirements:

• Demonstrate a portfolio of civil and infrastructure projects working as BIM Coordinator/modeller/documenter
• (Preferably civils infrastructure projects (bridges, tunnels, roads, rail, and civils buildings).
• Experience executing multi-discipline coordination, clash detection and issue management and an advance user of any of the following: Autodesk Navisworks, Revizto, and ACC Model Coordination.
• Experience working with the ISO19650 framework and implementing required documentation in a project environment.
• Advanced knowledge and experience resolving model issues and conflicts in Civil 3D and Revit
• Experience optimising workflows with Dynamo will be considered favourable
• Technical design and construction delivery knowledge for Transport and Civil Infrastructure disciplines.
• Experience working with Common Data Environments Autodesk Construction Cloud and Bentley ProjectWise.
• Communication - Fluent in English (oral and written), a team player and mentor, and exceptional interpersonal skills

Professional Qualifications:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Design Technology or Construction Technology, or a related discipline project execution or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training, and related experience.
• 8+ years of industry experience in the BIM and Digital Delivery field. Must have previous formal multidiscipline BIM Manager/Coordinator role experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Visual programming xe2x80x93 preferred, working knowledge of Dynamo, Bentley Generative Components and/or Grasshopper
• International experience working with global project teams. Experience working on projects in any of the following: Australia, USA, Canada, UK, and Ireland, Middle East and/or Asia will be considered favourable.
