Solid in Power BI / SQL skills



End-to-End Power BI Solutions



Design, develop, and deploy scalable, interactive Power BI dashboards and reports using advanced DAX and Power Query (M) for various business domains.



Data Modeling and Visualization



Build efficient, reusable data models with a star/snowflake schema, defining calculated columns, measures, and KPIs that align with business goals.



Advanced DAX Implementation



Create complex DAX calculations and measures for custom business logic, trend analysis, time intelligence, and predictive indicators.



Data Integration and ETL Automation



Integrate data from multiple sources (SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, etc.) and automate ETL processes using Power BI Dataflows and Power Query.



Performance Optimisation



Optimise report performance through query folding, DAX tuning, incremental refresh, and effective data model structuring.



Stakeholder Collaboration and Reporting Governance



Liaise with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business logic into technical specifications, and establish reporting standards and governance practices.



Power BI Administration and Security



Manage workspaces, access controls, Row-Level Security (RLS), and deployment pipelines in Power BI Service for controlled, secure reporting.



Training and Self-Service Enablement



Provide training and mentorship to business users and analysts on Power BI adoption and best practices, promoting a self-service BI culture.



Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA)



Conduct statistical data exploration and pattern discovery to support business hypothesis testing and strategic decisions.



Predictive Modelling Support



Collaborate with data scientists to apply machine learning models and statistical algorithms and visualise model outputs effectively in Power BI.



Data Storytelling and Insights



Leverage a strong mathematical and commercial/legal background to provide meaningful, data-driven narratives and actionable business insights.



Advanced Analytics with R/Python (optional)



Use R or Python scripts in Power BI for advanced statistical computation, anomaly detection, and clustering as needed.
