Job Description

Duties:

Design and implement AWS cloud-based solutions, ensuring best practices and security standards.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Evaluate and recommend AWS services and third-party tools to meet business needs.
Develop architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and design specifications.
Lead the migration of on-premises applications to AWS.
Optimize AWS environments for cost, performance, and reliability.
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for proactive issue resolution.

Cloud architecture
DevOps
Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)

Required Qualifications:

Experience:

7+ years in cloud architecture, primarily focused on AWS
5+ years in cost optimization and solution tuning within cloud environments
Certification:

AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional or Associate) or equivalent
Education:

Bachelor's Degree or higher in a quantitative or technical field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or Finance

Technical Competencies:

Expertise in designing and deploying complex, cloud-native applications and microservices
Deep hands-on experience with core AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, etc.
Solid understanding of cloud networking, security, and compliance best practices
Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or AWS CDK
Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Strong analytical thinking and effective communication skills
