Senior Labour Attorney (Minimum 5 Years' Experience)
A well-established and busy law firm is seeking to appoint a
Senior Labour Attorney
with
a minimum of five (5) years' post-admission experience
to join its practice.
Requirements:
Admitted attorney with
at least 5 years' experience in labour law practice
Extensive litigation experience
in the CCMA, Bargaining Councils, Labour Court and Labour Appeal Court
Strong experience in
all fields of law
, including (but not limited to):
Civil litigation
Commercial and contractual matters
Family law
Criminal procedure (working knowledge)
General High Court and Magistrates' Court practice
Ability to
draft pleadings, opinions, and correspondence independently
Confident court presence and sound legal judgment
Ability to manage files from inception to finalisation
Strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure
Excellent communication and client-management skills
Responsibilities:
Handling labour matters from consultation to finalisation
Representing clients at hearings, trials, and arbitrations
Advising clients on labour compliance, discipline, and dispute resolution
Managing a diverse litigation caseload across multiple areas of law
Supervising junior staff where required
